"LAKE MORAINE" was a commissioned painting from a provided customer photo.
This painting was rendered completely in Bob Ross Oils on a 36" x 24" Gallery Wrapped Canvas. I was able to play the warm Cadmium Oranges, Burnt Sienna and Indian Yellow against the cool Blues in the water.
I appreciated the challenges this painting offered and truly enjoyed creating a memory for the buyers.
Oh wow thatโs beautiful
I have to say your evergreens are especially stunning. The contrast and negative space between branches have a ton of interest. I also quite enjoy the texture and detail on the orangey rock faces.
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. On larger canvases I am obsessed with adding detail that blends away when viewed from a distance.
Looking good, Wayne. ๐
I love the contrast between the cold blues and the warm sun lit mountains in the distance.
And I fully agree with Jeff regarding the evergreens.
